Hi Guys,

Where does these 3 fit?
They look like the manifold's retainers but I have the 4 installed.

If you can advise please.

They are slightly bigger than the manifold ones. About 3mm in length longer.

This is weird, it came off the car when I started restoring her and can not remember where they fit.

Thanks guys, any other suggestions......

Could be but don't have medallions on rear bumper, good guess though.
This really baffles me, it came off the car for sure

parts showing hole wear are most likely not manifold. If it's a roadster body maybe the top assembly is involved. blue38

Except for the manifold, I have never seen another place for parts of that shape. Later engines used larger manifold retainers so I believe that is where they came from.

In the US the back side retainers for the double bar bumper medallions are rectangular bar stock. Am familiar with nuts and bolts level of '31 Roadsters and never seen anything like them other than on the engine.

Is it possible a previous owner doubled up some of the manifold clamps (one on top of another) for some reason, such as longer bolts? If you cannot remember where they came from, how can you be sure they came off car at all? May have been in parts spares. Regardless, I am sure they are manifold clamps.
