Gidday Fellas,

Anyone got a spare Chev wheel puller sitting up on the garage shelf collecting dust, or one tucked away in a old box of tricks not being used?? why I here you ask!!

Well I have used Rays a few times, it is very bloody handy and quick, even with my car up on the jack stands in the workshop the wheels are rather tight to remove well the rear are impossible to remove actually without one and the fronts I have to hit the tyres alot with a rubber mallet to loosen them so I would like to buy one as they don't seem to come up for sale in OZ to often and before you tell me to loosen the axle nut and drive around in circles a few times its a little hard to do in the workshop and the thought of doing that anyway does not appeal to me at all, I might damage something and why do it when there is a proper tool for the job....

So if you do have one, and don't use it or have a cupboard full of them I'm very interested in and you can PM me your asking price and postage..

Cheers Grant.

Grant,

Do you have access to a lathe? If so, they are very easily made. Some time ago I measured mine up for another forum member. If you are interested I can send you a copy of my e-mail to him with the details. I'd need a PM with your e-mail address if you think you would find it useful.

Regards,

Frank.

Gidday Franco,

Mate great offer!! but I have no access to a lathe myself :( but send thru the details anyway as I have a mate up in Albury NSW that is a absolute wizz on one, makes all his own fishing reels etc and has a few old restored International trucks, he would be able to knock one up ASAP for me....
Thanks once again and here is my workshop email grant@signwriter.com.au

Hi Shawng,

Saw your posting.

Have you got those front shockers on yet.

Cheers

Ray

Some say "Street is neat". I prefer "1928 is great"

I have documented my 45 years with a 1928 Chev Tourer, from 1973 to 2018, and regulary add other items that I hope are of interest to others. Your comments are most welcome. The story of the Red Chev can be viewed at http://my28chev.blogspot.com/
