What years are exactly the same as '38? I believe '37, '38 and '39 are but I don't know that for a fact. Also what years are the key end of the electrolock the same? I'm putting together a restoration document on rebuilding one and I'd like to know how many model years the information is accurate for. I spent the afternoon rebuilding the one out of my '38 and took a LOT of pictures of the process.

You need to understand my feeble old mind Charlie. If it says 37-39 all passenger is part number 1865216 but it also says 35-47 all passenger is part number 1097319 it leaves me a bit confused. 37-39 fall into the 35-47 range but with different part numbers.

Tiny, It just means that the "Cylinder" is the same. Nothing more. Charlie

One last question guys, what is the gauge of wire used on an electrolock? Just by looking I'd guess 16, close??

14 it is, thank you. Be sure to use high temperature insulated wire or cloth coated. Standard insulation will melt inside the cable and short out the wire.
