I'm installing a new radiator in my 4dr confederate.

My question is the 2 bolts on the bottom of the radiator shell were rusted off, do the new ones get welded in or do you use a carriage bolt. I noticed that the bottom hole is slotted like it was designed to use a carriage bolt.
any information will help.

Thank You
Buckeye

You can either use a carriage bolt if the head is flat enough or an elevator bolt (they have very flat heads).
