I'm working on a '34 Master.Has anyone had any experience with separating this brace from the windshield panel, mounting it to the wood frame then re-welding the windshield panel to it? My body is separated like it was at the factory because ALL the wood must be replaced. I was wondering whether this is easier than fidgeting with J-nuts. All there is to do in removing the brace is to drill out a half-dozen spot welds. It's putting it back on I'm wondering about.I'm familiar with the J-nuts and with Mr. Entler's method of mounting the original anchor nuts using tiny brass screws as alternatives.
Looking at all the alternatives.
