First, thankyou everyone for your kind comments in my other post. I really appreciate it.

Second, I noticed that several of the comments referred to the interior. I thought this was strange since I hadn't posted any pictures of it. I then realized that clicking on the picture of the car would take you to my flikr photo page. Well, unfortunately that is not a picture of my interior (I wish it were!) Anyway, here is what mine looks like. blush

Thanks again.

Oooooh, well then, I retract everything I said. ref

Just kidding. Yours looks a lighter shade but is very nice. Fit for a queen, I'd say.
Thanks for the update,

Thanks Charlie. And yes, you are right. The color is not quite correct. I'll let my kids take care of that in about 20 years. laugh

Gray and Black go together better than Brown and Black. I think it looks great.

You could have an old chevy GREEN and Brown!(with a red stripe) !!!grin

Thanks wuz. My dad thought so too. It really does look good, and other than the color, it's all original (new upholstery only).

BTW, I really like what you've done with your car. I think it looks great. But most importantly, you seem like your having a fun time doing it. Agrin

Maybe we shouldn't encouragement to him. It's tantamount to saying "great job" to a graffiti artist or to a child with crayons using the living room wall as a canvas. dance

Well, not quite, the same but try this: If he were to become president someday "Air Force 1" would be completely chrome plated with a giant emerald colored "WUZ" logo on the vertical stabilizer. At least it'd be a big hit on visits to Ireland. I guess. Go figure.

Hail to the chief...

If I were President...

1. Veterans get first priority on any U.S. Government job that comes open.
2. The U.S. Congressmen get the average wage of whatever their states average rate of pay happens to be after every citizen in that state has entered their pay into the formula.
3. No military aggressive action can take place outside our borders without an act of war from the congress.
4. The budget has to be balanced EVERY year by the last day of that year or no pay for congressmen at all
5. All U.S. borders will be defended by whatever means neccessary.
6. The electoral college will be abolished. Popular vote will prevail.
7. The ACLU will be abolished
8. The IRS will be abolished. A national sales tax of 19% will be charged on ALL goods. No federal income tax at all. If you make a lot and spend a lot, you pay a lot.
9. Any Car or Truck company owned by a foreign government must have at least 50% of that car or truck made and assembled in the U.S.A. before it can be sold in the U.S.A.
10. Each congressmen must have their own taxes paid up to date before they can cast a vote in congress.
11..The Whitehouse will be moved to THE GREAT SMOKEY MOUNTAINS of EAST TENNESSEE.

How long do you think it will be before they BAN me?...grin

Heck yes!! I'd vote for the guy with a "platform" like that. Dang good points. Not sure about Number 11; but all else are just good sense....
