I need new tires for my '61 Apache Series 10 Model C1434 Fleetside and want to mount them on the correct rims. I now have some 15" rims with the three spring steel inner clips for mounting the hubcap and one with two outer ribs for the larger hubcaps.

I think the rims with the spring steel clips were last used on the 1960 models and the 1961 models used the larger hubcaps so was looking for those rims and found there are both 2 rib and 3 ribs styles for retaining the hubcaps.

Does anyone know which is the correct rim? Also, what is the correct crome hubcap style (bumpers are crome so assume hubcaps were also crome)?

Thanks for any info in advance.

I have an answer - wdoftexas posted on the Chevrolet 1961-64 Forum. The correct rims are the three bump rims. Thanks to all that viewed my post.
