How similar are the 35 and 36 master chassis? This is for a street rod, so I am really only concerned with the basic size and shape of the frame rails as I will install modern IFS and new rear end. Will a 36 body fit on a 35 Master frame?

Hi bradoemba, I can't answer your question, however here is some information you may not be aware of. This site is directed to the "Restoration" of Chevrolet's rather than conversions. Also we become a bit quizzical when little or no information is posted in your profile. You will most likely get an answer to your question on this thread, however you will do much better on other type sites.

I've been a member for so long I didn't even realize my profile wasn't updated. I have now done so.
I understand your point about restoration vs. custom builds, which is exactly why I came to this board with my question. The hot rod boards out there will tell you "anything" is possible, but I am more concerned with original Chevy data for this project. My customer has a '36 Master with a disaster of a frame that is unusable. I have been making '35 Master frames for decades and always understood it to be dimensionally different from the '36 Master. So...here I am looking to get some answers from the best source I know for original Chevy information.
Any help from the experts in the know would be much appreciated.
Thanks!
