I was wondering if anybody knows where to get the Radiator assembly to Frame Mounting Kit for a 36 Master? Mine is kind of deteriorated and destroyed. I can't seem to locate a new one. I tried a few different places, but no luck. If this part isn't available, whats a good substitute? I have the the two metal pieces that could probably be reused but the rubber is shot. any suggestions? ( rubber type, original, thickness ect...) Thanks, Ken

Are you talking about the side mounts or bottom mount? As far as I know, these are part of the radiator. I don't think they could be removed easily. I have the old radiator from my 36 Master, and I think the mounting is in reasonable shape. Send me a private message if you want it, or want to see pictures. I'm about to get rid of it and will send it to you for shipping if it's what you need. Randy Nudo Overland Park, KS

I just realized that you're probably talking about just the hardware. I don't know that the rubber thickness is critical. I just cut a thin piece about 1/8 inch thick. I bought carriage bolts and nuts at the hardware store, but they have corroded rather quickly also. I'm going to replace them with stainless carriage bolts/nuts.

Thanks for the offer on your first post, but I don't think that is what I need ( you can send me a picture of it if you like, might take it off your hands if I think I need it). What I was looking for would be the mounting Pads and Hardware to mount the radiator "U" bracket to the frame. However I think that I just located and ordered the pieces from Chevs of the 40's. I think that this may work, will see? I didn't think about checking there at first being that they started with the 1937 model year car, but I know that they handle some earlyer stuff as well ,so I thought I would check anyway.Do you know if the Carriage Bolts were painted or not??? If not I may think about the stainless as well. Thanks again, Ken

I painted the bolts with a clear finish that Eastwwod sells, but obviously it's not that great of a product. I'll be curious to see how the Chevs of the 40s hardware works out.
