Hello, I am scouring the internet looking for some "rust free" front fenders for my 1937 Pontiac Silver Streak (GM CDN) Straight 6. My fenders are "ok" but will need alot of work.. so I am investigating replacements - I am hoping to get some that are financially easy on my wallet... Thanking you in advance, Trevor... Pics of my Project are here https://picasaweb.google.com/102332...CDN224RestorationProject?feat=directlink

These fenders should be regular 1937 US Pontiac parts so should be some around. Post wanted ads at the POCI site and other Pontiac sites. If they were Canadian only pieces you'd be looking for awhile.
PM me and I'll connect you with some guys with 37 224's.

So canadian Pontiacs have OHV engines in them ? (I thought all Pontiacs of the period had flatheads, 6 or 8 cylinders)

They had a 224 in them which was a version of the Chev 216 motor.
My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .

Hi, you might already know this, if you find front fenders for your car make sure they are the correct ones for your car, as the ones for the six cyl are shorter then the eight cyl cars, and unless you have the correct measurments you could get the wrong ones, its hard to tell the difference by just looking at them if the fenders are off the car. I have 2 37 pontiacs, a six and an eight, so I know there is a difference in length in the hoods, hood side panels, and the front fenders, good luck with your car, I have no extra parts for sale at this time. Dennis
