Can someone say for certain if a 1936 Standard and Master bell housing are the same, or different?

(I have been asked to post this question by a non-computer member in Iowa that needs to know, but doesn't have a Parts Book.)

Thanks!

They are not the same due to the completely different transmission used in the Standard.

Yes, they are very different for the transmission mounting. Just see how much of a difference when one stupidly uses a spare bell housing off of a master and then tries to bolt up the standard trasmission. blush Had to take out the clutch, pressure plate and flywheel to switch to the correct standard bell housing.

OK, thanks all. I will relay this info to Ken in Iowa.
