Anyone know a source for good repro floorboards for 1940? Everything I see listed for sale seems to be for street rods. I'm staying stock. Need front and rear. Thanks.

Here's a '40 coupe for sale in SD. Seller says the floors are good. Some other good stuff on it, too, but it's pretty beat up overall. http://www.oldride.com/classic_cars/935380.html Has a heater and a fairly decent dash.

Have you tried "Chev Of The Forties"?, "Obsolite Chevy Parts"?, "The Filling Station"? Just a suggestion. There are others that carry the sheet metal you might need. chevy auto ok

I got mine for the 41 from either FS or 40s, can't remember which. Get the replacement stamped(?) ones.

I made a mistake and ordered the street rod one that were supplied by "Bitchin.'" They were nice and strong but not what I should have ordered. Had to send them back and get the right ones for the original look, etc.

For my 38, I used ones made by Classic to Current (C2C). They weren't exact but much better than the street rod ones. They have grooves that look original.

My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .
