Is there anyplace to get a vacuum wiper repair kit for 1953 chevrolet.

If it isn't broken, fiddle with it anyway so you have something to repair.

You might try Chev's of the 40's and ask for Ron the owner.
Inside the vaccum motor is a rubber flap valve/gasket that can be hand made;the hard part is getting a metal-rubber seal that reciprocates along the curved housing. It looks somewhat like the new "dogtags"-metal with the edge covered in rubber. The seal has to be perfect as it wipes(internally)along the curved aluminium housing.
1955,56,57 electric ww motors will bolt in to 49-54 chevys-maybe some years earlier. Chevy trucks had electric ww motors earlier than 55 but don't know if they were 6 volt. The good thing about the 55 electric is it can work off your original knob with it's speed control and it is a direct bolt in. Good Luck !

They appear to only do the rebuilding of vacuum wiper.

I realize you are looking for a vacuum wiper repair kit; however, I would recommend Ficken Wiper Service -(631)587-3332-if you decide to allow someone else to rebuild for you. I don't know if they sell parts, but I was very pleased with their rebuild work on the wiper motor for my '50 Chevy.

Apparently they don't sell parts. Still looking for a rebuilt kit. Mac's Antique Auto Parts (For Fords) sells rebuild kits for trico ww motor. They apprently fit KSB, KCX, K & KB trico motors. I wonder if they would fit a 53 trico ww motor.
