I had an opportunity this week to paint a large garage. When I arrived the first day I was asked to look inside the garage to see if I could help them with the contents. WOW !!! This place had been a neighborhood service garage from about 1915 till 1979. Over the last 30 years the current owners had cleaned some stuff out. Handing on a wall was a Genuine Chevrolet Parts , parts cabinet !!! There are part number bin tags inside and the shelves. No tags are newer than 1940. The cabinet was loaded with parts. No major finds inside the cabinet. I'll try to post a pic over the weekend. It will soon be hanging in my toy house ( garage )

Will see if this picture comes across.

Did not seem to work. I must be missing something in the directions. Sorry.

VCCA Son sent me the photograph to post for him. He had stated earlier that, "The cabinet was loaded with parts. No major finds inside the cabinet." Maybe there is something in there that he didn't recognize as major. One could hope.

Did some digging thru the cabinet, it is now empty. I found a NOS Vacuum shift rubber boot. Amazing that is is still very plyable, a box of used vacuum shift parts, a couple of floor mount e-brake release handle springs, and what I think will be the "jewel" - a Caddy horn button.

Most if what I am finding in boxes are used parts that he kept.
