For several years my husband and I have owned a 1928 Chevy Utility Truck. We drove it in parades for several years, but for the past 5 to 10 years it has been in the garage. We have no idea of the value. Thought asking here would be a good place to start. We have a full page AD from the Sept. 1928 "The Country Gentleman" magazine that describes it as "World's Lowest Priced Truck with 4 Speeds Forward and 4-wheel Breakes" "The New Utility Truck $520 (Chassis only) f.o.b. Flint, Michigan." This truck has the grain body with the wooden sides. In very good condition.

lovetrucks,
Pictures would help. Does the tag by the seat indicate it is a LP? What is the engine number? This information will help assess the value.
Best Regards,
Paul

The LO had two-wheel brakes, LP four-wheel. The LP started production probably in July 1928 and was launched August 1st.
