Can anyone confirm for me that the 29 Phaeton DID have seat adjustment hardware under the front seat? Mine shows no sign that it did, but there wasn't much left of the seat, so can't really tell. Other models in 29 did have the hardware. Any ideas where I can find?

Hi Carolyn,
I have sent you an email of some pictures of the front seat of a 1929 tourer. It would be similar to the phaeton. The front seat is not adjustable , as it is joining the two centre pillar sections of the open body together. The seat squab is raised off the floor on an angled timber frame.

Hi Carolyn --
The front seat in the '29 Phaeton was fixed -- no adjustment. It is mounted on a wood subframe and the seat springs (cushions_ are kept in place by a sheet metal band screwed to the wood. I can send some photos if it would help. Glad to see you moving ahead on your project.
