is it possible to install a 37 truck 4 speed transmission in a 37 car without a lot of trouble? thanks

It is a different length and the bell housing would need to be changed. The truck 4 speed was a very crude transmission. Was not syncronized and 1st gear was just for pulling stumps. The rest of te gears had ratios designed for pulling heavy loads
