help I had our clutch cage rewelded, however to balance
the Clutch housing. the Shop wants to do it together with
the Flywheel. I have the Flywheel bolts out, before i go any further and screw things up. What is the best way to remove
the flywheel? Cheers Stan

Grab the flywheel on each side with your hands...and then pull it off.

that easy? I see these wedges like axe hangle wedges are they of no problem?

The flywheel bolts hold the flywheel to the crankshaft. With the bolts removed the flywheel can be removed.

Got it off thanks, had to use an air chissle to get it started
and a piece of simple angle iron and a bolt a few taps and off it came thanks again

Sure, glad to help. And remember....when working on old Chevrolets of that vintage, most things can be figured out with just a little common sense and by reading the repair manual. Vague as the manual is it still tends to be somewhat helpful.
