Check out the start up my 1914 H2 Royal Mail Roadster. It has not run since at least 1956.

"Royal Mail" was simply a sales/marketing pitch at that time. Royal Mail is the postal system in England that is hundreds of years old and was originally for the royalty/nobility and is still in use today. Maybe Royal Mail infers swiftness and reliability as in "the mail will get through".
Exotic names were popular back then-Luis Chevrolet was a flashy, flamboyant Frenchman that was a race car driver and William Durant wanted his sweet sounding name for marketing his car sales. Otherwise we might be the "LCCA-Little Car Club of America" today!

Really neat videos! It is a great feeling getting one going after so long. I call it chasing the spiders out of the muffler!

Really glad you "You-Tubed" that, Dan. Now lots more people can see it.

To me, that moment when an engine first lights up is one of the very best moments in the hobby! Especially after a rebuild, or like in this case when it has been asleep for so very long.
