I don't seem to be able to find trunk lid hinges for my '34 Master 5-Window Coupe. There's a set on eBay but the seller says thay're not for Masters. Why isn't something so elusive being reproduced?

I've seen several 5-window coupes that had been converted to rumble seat. Is there a conversion kit?

Just curious, Landman

As you know the 5 window coupe hinges are different fro the 3 window rumble seat jobs. There are perhaps 100 5 window coupes in exisistance.Of those perhaps only 25 people need the hinges. It could cost -??-maybe a few thousand dollars to make the hinges. That would make a set of hinges very expensive and there is a limit to what the average person would pay.I sure wouldn't risk that large of an investment on a limited item such as that.

After the lid is reversed the wood on the inside bottom of the opening needs to be cut away. Also a water drain system has to be designed.
