Does the 1928 Touring have running board trims originally? Are they made of metal? Painted or polished? Thanks JRA

Running board covers for the 1928 are available. You can get the flat ones for cheep, and the molded one that has the lip molded in for about $400.00. The quality of the latter one is amazing.

Were the 1928 running boards in Brazil metal or wood. In the USA the early '27 had wood and later metal. 1928 were all metal. If wood had a molding on the edge if metal the rubber was molded on top and on the outer edge.
