After letting it sit for a year, I finally pulled apart the rear end of my Chev. The driver side axle has torn into 2 seperate pieces. Other than cleaning the heck out of the differential, is there any other things I should be aware of, or do, so long as I have it apart (Other than replace seals as that is a given)I also need the axle shaft if anybody knows where one can be found...

Definetly do the the seals. Not a bad time to replace the rear brake shoes if needed. Also the oakie bushing in the torque tube. For an Axle I would try fellow member chevyb. has a lot of nos parts for sale.
