How hard is it to set up the crownwheel and pinion after new pinion bearings have been done. Sounds easy in the WSM ??

Dave I have a 35 master diff complete from gbox bell to brake drums and I think springs. The worst part is the hbrake cables have been cut but i think they were siezed anyway. I am only 1 hour down the highway and I dont want a fortune for it ring me after hours mobile 0418286788 if you are interested. Tony

Be aware that all 1935 differentials are not the same. Some have a ball bearing rear pinion bearing and some a roller. This makes the diff. housing and the pinion shaft different.
If you replaced only the pinion bearings use the original pinion shims. The only thing that will require "resetting" is the ring gear (crown gear) back lash (movement) between the ring gear and pinion gear.Is best done with a dial indicator.Specs. are in the shop manual.
