I need to redo the radiator shell lacing on my '32. I came across a thread from 2005 discussing for the '31 modifying the double bead lacing to single bead and split riveting to the shell. Does this hold true for the '32 as well?

The original lacing for the radiator shell should have one bead.

The single bead is on the engine side of the radiator shell.
