I read with interest the post about paint job refinishing. It brought to mind a decision I am going to have to make eventually. My 29 black four door sedan with green pin stripes on body and wheels has spotty surface rust where the fenders mate with the body. I have lightly taken emery cloth to one spot and without much in the way of effort there is bare metal. I do not intend to restore the car, or even shine it up much. What should an owner with such an attitude do to arrest the existing blemishes?
Thanks,
Dan

Hi and thanks,
Did you do anything to prepare the surface before you applied the rattle can?
Dan
