Does any one have a key clip(not sure what it's called) that retains the hdlite reflector to the "w" springs of the reflector bucket? Never have been able to order these, as everyone who listed them said they were out of stock. Most said they would contact me when more were in stock. Never been notified. If I had just one, then maybe I could fab a set and return original to owner. Any help appreciated

Are you referring to the hour glass shaped retainers? The reflector pushes against the springs and slips over three "arms" that have small slots in them and the retainers (clips?) go through the small slots to hold the reflector in place. Are those the pieces you refer to? If so I saw a vendor some time back with them listed on their web site but I don't recall which vendor it was. I don't have extras, I'm just curious as to whether that is the item you're looking for. Found them. Scroll down to the second part from the bottom. Part number C-13062-E.

I've called that guy a dozen times. He doesn't have 50% of the stuff shown on the website. Good luck with him.
Craigs list has old 38 headlights complete but the buckets are rusty ...cheap. I'll try to find them.

I have tried the site you mentioned and he was out, said he may have one lying around and would send it, but never heard anymore, I think he gets some of his supplies from I&I. I contacted them and they were on back order, but never received a response.
Tiny, that is the clip(or what ever it is called) I was asking about.
Thanks guys for trying to help.

These are nothing to make. I picked up a piece of panel metal and cut a rectangle about 3/8" by 1/2", bevelled the corners and filed a slot in either side about midway like on the website, bent them over about 90 degrees and slipped them into place. You don't have to be outstandingly accurate as the spring tension holds them into place. I made about half a dozen in 20 minutes.
