Hi,
The valve stems on my 29 sedan are just suspended in the holes in the rim. I have the solid steel rims with new tires and tubes installed and wondered if there should be some kind of spacer installed in the hole in the rim to keep the stem centered.
Thanks,
Dan

My August 1931 Master Parts Book lists the following:I, U, Ind Grommet, Tire Valve Stem (Series AC,AD) .02 354381. I hope this helps you. My 19,000 mile original 1931 Pickup had the Grommets in the wheels when I purchased it. That caused me to look in the parts books. I have a set of the Grommets I plan to bring to Flint.

Thanks. I thought it left a rather large gap for rocks etc. to get in.
