Have to replace/patch the outer rocker and quarter panel on my 37 Chev Coupe.

Should there be a drain hole in each area and should these areas be isolated... IE should there be a barrier between them inside?
Thanks

Going by my 38 2 door sedan, I have a drain tube that exits the quarter panel and is connected to a pan underneath the back side window. The door post, quarter panel and inner rocker behind the door post should form an enclosure that is sealed to the outside. I don't think the outer rocker panel has anything to do with that. I am going to make sure that my outer rocker has a place to drain and that some air can get in between the inner and outer rocker.

My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .
