I know Canada had a data plate on the fire wall with job#, serial#, engine#. My question is did Canada use the serial number on the floor by the seat like the USA cars? Did Canada put a serial number any else on the vehicles?

I checked with two owners of 34 Canadian Chevs and they both said they have only seen the data plate on the firewall. Both of these cars are apart for restoration so the plates would have been visible if they were present anywhere else on the vehicle........David
