I was just looking at Sally Barnett's 34 Master in the May/June issue of "Antique Automobile" and it raises a question about the two-tone paint scheme. I was surprised to see the rear panel under the spare tire (gas tank cover) painted black like the fenders. Is this correct? If so then is the spare tire bracket black as well? I was under the impression that only the 4 fenders and the 2 running boards would be black.

In looking through the paint combinations for 1934 all combinations list the "cross member cover" as being a "color".
