Looks like the thermostat on my 1950 Chevy Sports Coure (Powerglide) has quit. In looking at the various catalogs I notice several are offered , 160 degrees and 180 degrees.
Which thermostat is the one I need?

Thanks

Heater will work better with 180* t/stat, but if you don't need or have heater, 160* will work fine.

An internal combustion engine runs best at 180.

If your car tends to overheat, go with the 160.
