Does anyone know how many of the 7/8 diameter rubber discs/biscuits are used on a 38 coupe door and the door opening? The old one I got appears to be about 3/16 thick on the middle and tapers smaller to the edge. The one on the parts door had one at the top corner on the front edge of door. It seems there are other locations? any suggestions appreciated

I only recall seeing one hole for a bumper on each door on my coupe. The hole is top aft of the door opening. We just used a standard rubber bumper that any body shop would have.

these rubber discs are thinner than the pressed in rubber bumpers and are held with small sheet metal screw

locating replacements is not the problem. It seems they may be used in other places on the door or frame. Am I wrong?

I just redid my doors this winter in the shop. The originals were all intact--there is only one location for this rubber disc, as described by Tiny and Brian.

So it's on the front of the door itself? I guess a trip to the garage is in the offing. laugh
