My 32 leaks on the drivers SIDE onto the side pan, yet there doesnt seem to be any oil streaming from above!
Where in the heck is it coming from?
I thought the oil tube, the oil distribution tube?
It's driving me nuts more than I already am.

I know this is a dumb question: What's gas filter rubber?
Isnt it just as easy to replace the copper tube?
Thanks for your help, I'll look for a crack.
Thought I was going nuts

my 32 has a dirty tank so Irun 2 inline filters..1 before the fuel pump and 1 at carb..with each inline filter you get 2 ..2inch pieces of fuel hose and 4 clamps. my line was cracked below the curve where it inserts in block. let us know blue38

Im guessing it's not visible to the naked eye. I have to start it up first?

Hi
It looks like mine is leaking where the tube goes into the block. Is there a distributer for these tubes ? Any easy way to find out for sure ? Is there any harm to running the engine the way it is ? I would like to avoid any down time right now.
Thanks,
Cliff

The road draft tube should fit relatively tight into the block. If not the oil mist in the crankcase can exit past the outside of the tube where it enters the block. It will also leak more if the inside of the tube is not clean and the holes open.

Hello

I checked the tube and it appears to fit tight at the block. Would it be possible the tube is cracked at the block ? Anything is possible I suppose. Is there an issue in running the engine with a leak like this ?
thanks again,
Cliff
