Does anyone know if the 35 standard hubcaps, with the clips, are being reproduced? If not, does anyone make just the skins that can be attached to the old cores? P.S. Still having a hard time finding the correct bumper brackets for the rear bumper. I have plenty of masters, including the complete setup for a rumbleseat roadster, but can't seem to find the standard.

Hello Mike,

I am not 100% sure about your parts, but I assume you have tried;
I & I Reproductions. {Los Angeles}
Filling Station.
Chevsofthe40's.
Obsolete Chevy Parts {Ga.}

As other possible locations are ebay & Hemming's.

Best of luck,
Michael41

I have repaired skins over the years, just depends on how bad the dents are, once repaired they can be replated.

If you have a photo I can tell you if I can fix them.

Also, the Master skins are the same, so if yo can find those I can swap to the Standard base.

The 1935 Master hub caps are much larger than the Standard hub caps and the skins are very different.

Mike,
When I was working on my car in the 70s, I needed one more cap. I successfully removed the skin from a '36 Standard cap and installed it on my '35 back. The '36 caps seem to be more plentiful for some reason.

I could use 5 skins. They must be in perfect condition as I already have several that are not.
