Are those little threaded holes either side of steering shaft on a '35 steering wheel for using a puller? They seem to be spaced to close for my puller and would use a small bolt. I don't have a C type wheel puller...any help or suggestions for getting steering wheel off.

Hi Chris,
Here is a link to a previous chatter thread on removing a steering wheel using those two holes. You will probably have to tap the holes with a 10-32 UNF tap to be able to use this method.

Thanks for the info. I removed the wheel with a OEM 25200 puller I got from Auto Zone...it was smaller than the one I was trying to use. The holes in the wheel were already threaded for 10-24. I did have to make me some washers out of 1/4 inch flat stock because the washers I had kept trying to pull thru the slots on the puller.
