Can anyone tell me the difference between a right hand side and a left hand side radius rod as used on knee action. They both look the same to me but they have different part numbers

I may be wrong but I think that the thread in the ends is right or left thread depending on which side.

There was a left and right on the original arms-because the backing plate brackets came with the 1934-35 arms-and due to the location of the grease gittings.Later the arm fit either side and the bracket was not furnished. These arms fit either side and from 1934-38.They have an extra set of grease fitting holes and came with plugs so the un-used holes could be plugged. The after market arms were made the same way----and you want to have the grease fittings pointing down. All were right hand thread.
