So, anybody know if there are repro interior doors handles? Mine are replated, but the interior teeth skip unless you push the handle(s) against the door panel.

Have you tried Chevs of the 40's, The Filling Station,or I & I Reproductions? They all have on line catalogs. Over the years I have dealt with all 3 and all are great. Good Luck!

The interior door handles are listed, in the 1953 parts book, as being the same from 1936-38.The appearence may be slightly different but they would fit and eleminate your problem.

Because my car is not finished, I'm using a handle from the 60's. The spline is just about the same. Amazing, all these years and they never changed the spline thickness. chevy

"...the interior teeth skip unless you push the handle(s) against the door panel."

Before buying new handles, you might try checking these to see if the horseshoe clips that hold the handle on are fully engaged. I've found many times in the past that when they are not fully engaged, you get exactly the symptom you describe. Sometimes you have to use a rubber mallet and give the handle a sharp blow to get the clip to snap into place.
