Hello fellow vintage Chevrolet owners.

Recently moved back to my hometown(St. Catharines,ON, CAN )after 25 yrs,and to my relief the 'old car' is still here. It is a 1928 National
4-door sedan stored in the drive-down basement, coincidently the house was also built in '28.This is a family car,was somewhat 'fixed-up' in the late 50's and has 1963 plates on it,I can remember her being on the road. ODO shows just over 25,000 miles.

I have read many old posts in the 1912-1928 forum and have already educated myself a great deal.

The paint and ulpolstery I intend to farm-out,but the mechanical I want to do myself.

Have joined the VCCA,waiting for membership info.

This is a long time dream/project,please be open to a few dumb-[bleeped] questions.

With great enthusiasm,

Mark

Don't be shy Mark, that's why everyone is here, to help and to get helped. You'll see you'll be able to contribute yourself. Everybody doesn't know everything, but 9000 of them come close. You'll enjoy this. Keep us posted.

Best Regards, Pat

Gidday Scooby

Mate I can fully understand were you are coming from with that statement in your thread......
Maybe we can both stumble along blindly together with our resto's, as sometimes all we need is a good push from the sidelines and things start to fall into place.

Cheers, good luck and talk to you soon

Grant

Cheers Grant.

Welcome to a fellow Canadian. Don't be shy as I have asked a few of what I thought were dumb [bleeped] questions too. Please believe me when I tell you these fellas will never make you feel that way. There are many knowledgable guys here that are willing to help anytime. Good Luck with your project.

Dan
