i want to replace my rims on my 1939 master 85 . i am wondering what years , the 15 &/or 16 inch - 6 lug rims will fit . also , would new or junkyard searching be the best route ? if new , what vendors could supply problem free rims ? i really like the artillary stye , but they might be awful pricey !
thanks for any help .

T^e 1940-1948 16" wheels from a passenger car will fit.
The 15" optional wheels from a 1948 car will fit.
!/2 ton truck 6 lug wheels will fit - right up into the '70's.

You can buy new artillary style rims if you want. Wheel Vintiques and several others are offering them. One catch here, some of them will only take the hubcaps made for the new wheel even though they look the same as the stock ones when installed.

My 1951 1 Ton is now on the road! My 38 Master 4 Door is also now on the road .
