I dont have any specifications for 29 models but would think .005" would be the maximum and preferably .002".
Someone with the service manual would be better informed than me.

The specification is 0.004" - 0.006". Of course used parts will be a bit wider. I have read the anything over 0.010" indicates replace the center main.

I have some readings on the mains that showed very little wear end 1.9345 center 1.9945 end 2.005825 ????? Anyone know what they should be???? thanks joe

front - 1.937"
center - 2.000"
rear - 2.062"
