I have a tombstone heater, and would like to install this in my 1928 chevy, I know that it did not come with the car, but would like to install anyway's. When did chevy produce these hot water heaters??? Where does this heater mount? and does it get mounted upright on the floor, or under the dash?? and what does it mount to?? Any information would be greatly helpful.

If you are referring to the 1931-32 heater, it was bolted to the firewall between the dash and firewall.

Hey Chipper going back on an old post. Does this heater mount at a 90 degree, under the dash (straight down)?? Or does it mount to the foot board?? and sit at an angle between foot board and the dash panel. Any idea on where and how this heater is to be mounted and the angle it need's to be installed at to get full function out of this heater without a bubble getting caught up and pluging the cooling system, is there a bracket to mount this unit??or??

The heater mounts on the firewall about 3/4 up from the bottom. There is an article in a past issue of the G&D that contains a 1/2 scale template to locate the holes for the hoses and bolts.
