I have a 1927 2 door sedan that a buddy has asked me to put in a Hampton coach interior. He asked me about the carpet in it and I'm not sure but didn't it have a rubber mat?

It should have a rubber floor mat in the front and carpet in the rear under the front to the back seat.

The rear carpet should be held in with snaps also. my 28 still has a couple of the snap bases still in it. My 21 490 has a couple in the rear area as well. I think they did that to keep them laying flat in the wind and to make them easy to remove to knock the dirt out since auto vacuums were a rarity back then.
