Hello all. In 07 I was searching for a country club fleetline aero chevy. Instead I found an NOS woodie kit still in its original box and indiv. wrapped with Detroit Free-Press newspaper...Sept, 47 I believe. This kit was discovered in the Chevrolet Dealership in Omaha, Neb when they were packing up the dealership to move it across town in the 90's. A salesperson there at the time rescued the boxed kit before it was discarded and gave it to his son...who years later sold it to me. I had meant to find a great fleetline aero to adorn with my kit, but a motorcycle wreck and divorce pretty much put my dream on hold. Anyone have any suggestions as to value now or any candidates for a really good vehicle that might be coming available to attach my kit to? Id love to hear from anyone who might be interested in purchase or knows of a appropriate aero coming up for sale. Joel 615 969-1551 Or write to formerharleydude@aol.com
ps.. I paid $2700 for the kit in '07

I know of many VCCA members who appreciate the look of the countryclub woodie kits. Although not necessarily a factory original item, still if it is in great condition, it is worth some real money.
Have you checked ebay lately? Every once and a while some information might be on that site. It certainly should draw a fair amount of money to someone interested in this unique look for the 1947 / 1948 Chevys.
Good luck with this item.

I might be interested in that kit. What does it include? Also any real expert on these cars? Is there a way to verify what is a real one or doesn't it matter. I'm new to this site. Where can I find some real info on these car.

Thanks,
Art
