OP badboy Shade Tree Mechanic Joined: Nov 2010 Posts: 78 California	What is the best bondo used for us old '58's? I have areas I need to fill in, should I use fiber glass bondos? I've seen angel hair used in larger areas to fill. Roof top, both sides of the quarter panels on the ledge where water got into nest to the where the rear windows rest. I was hoping not to fabricate but things change.

Most of the damaged parts should be replaced with metal first...patch panels..etc.Only a thin layer of bondo should be applied just to smooth out and blend the repair site.Never fill a large hole with bondo because it will eventually crack or fall out.
