I appear to be leaking antifreeze between the engine and trans of my 1948 fleetmaster with the original 216ci and 3 speed trans. any tips or tricks for pull the trans? Would it be better to pull the motor? Any insight? Is there even a freeze plug on the back!?

There is a freeze plug on the back of the engine block and as far as I know you will have to pull the engine to get at it.

If you pull the transmission the flywheel housing and fly wheel will also need to be pulled.
