Don't see these everyday. Lots of accessories on it, too! I hope mine turns out half as nice looking as this one. Well, maybe a little better than half. You know. dance

If you sport anything not done right on this one, please let me know so I don't make the same mistake. I'd really appreciate you doing that.

Yes Charlie, nice car.

1941 Chevy convertible !! Can't get much nicer than that....We have some great examples in So. Cal. of 40, 41, & 42 convertible's. Always a pleasure to see-em.

Enjoy,

Only things I can see that arn't right are the fancy trim on the fender skirts, the stainless gravel gaurds on the front of the rear fenders (should be black rubber) and the 1940 shark teeth wheel trim rings. It even has the verrry rare boot scrapers! Any thing else?
p.s. I have one of these in Cameo Cream - I love it!!!

I agree Chevbill.

The car also has Spinner Wheel, Interior Mirror {s}, Tissue Holder, Spot Light, Fold Down Rear Bumper Guard, and 2 Back-up lights {?}

A couple of things that would have to be restored/changed under the hood, to make it "stock" are spark plug wires, general wiring, battery, Air cleaner, etc.

But it's a good looking car just as it sits. Even with out a Sun Visor!

Question: Do all 41, Convert's have Maroon Leather upholstery ???

Enjoy,
Michael41

Mike,
Interesting question about the interior. I think the blue ones had blue leatherette, and the green, green leatherette. Other than that, I think they all may have been the standard "God-awful" shade of bright red. I think it clashes with the ruby maroon but the maroon is so pretty one has to suck it up. You know.

If I'm wrong, I hope that someone will enlighten us about the colors.

The also had a tan interior. With the maroon exterior I would prefer the red interior.
What a pair of 1941s'......a great original club coupe and a nice restored convertible.
By the way the seats were leather and not leatherette

The 1941 Cabriolet was available in 8 color and interior combinations.

As Chev Nut pointed out above, the interior was LEATHER.

Interior colors were: Red, Tan, Blue, and Green.

Tops were available in Black or Tan.

Cameo Cream was an exclusive color for the Cabriolet.

Well, it was leather something. Not just "leather." I think.

Anyway, I never ever seen one with tan interior. That might look OK with the tan top and maroon paint. Well, maybe not.

Anyhow, thanks for the information.

I would have called the tan medium brown as it was darker than what I would have called tan.

Good info guys!

Heck I'd take a "41 convertible, regardless of the interior leather color.

I have seen 41' convert's w/Black & Maroon, White & maroon, Cream & Maroon, Maroon & Maroon. I'll keep my eyes open for the other colors.

I have a couple of old 1941 Chevy magazines, paint samples/ formulas and some books that show exterior color's but not much mention about interior colors.

Enjoy,

When I was a teenager another older kid in our neighborhood had a Ridge Green '41 convertible with a red interior and a black top. It was a very nice car. Of course, the top might not be original in the late '40s....
