I need new engine mounts but do not know what to be looking for. I have zero trace of the old ones and cannot make sense of the 29-48 Chevy parts book.

Could someone please direct me to pictures of front and side (at bell housing) engine mounts for 1941 216 engine going back into a 41 Chevy car.

You need to get a parts catalog from "Chevy of the 40s" or "The Filling Station." You will also find that their catalogs are on the WEB if you do a search using their names. The pictures in the catalogs will show you what they look like. You will have 2 different types of mounts to choose from. I think the general consensus is to use the newer designed mount in the back or flywheel area. Good luck, Mike

P.S. I would be glad to provide you pictures, but the above suggestion is easier. If you want pictures let me know!!!
