went to a few local auto yards this weekend in the Denver area and all say that 1920's Chevy parts are very rare in deed. I have friends with Model T's and A's and those parts are very common.
Looking for the fly wheel, clutch and pressure plate for a 27 171, where could I start looking??

Ck'ed latest issue of Hemmings Motor News, there was only 3 items under Chevy for that period and 5 pages of Ford T's and A's...is this common??/ new to club and Chevy's

thanks ron

Come here for your parts and problems. Very little action in HMN and OCW.

It is undeniably true that Chevy parts of this vintage are much less common than that other brand. But they are definitely find-able. The items you have mentioned will not be that difficult.

Post the parts that you want in the "Parts Wanted" section here in this Chat site.

Contact Gary Wallace st:

http://www.20schevyparts.com/

even if not listed, he can provide further possible sources.

Most importantly, join the VCCA, get the monthly magazine, advertise in there for parts wanted as well.

The Quest for the parts is part of the fun!
