When I mounted my front fender braces, I mounted the headlight bar to test the fit. It runs downhill toward the passinger side. The braces look identical, they mount at the same point on the frame, the frame sits level, and I can't figure it out. If I shim the lower mounting hole on the passinger brace I can get the bar level but then that brace sits 1 inch higher, thus making the fender higher. Has anyone experienced this problem and maybe discovered a fit.

Stand in front of your car, put your chin between your thumb and forefinger. Now tilt your head slightly to the left. Things should look a little better now. Agrin

Sorry, I sometimes just can't help myself. Not knowing what state your car was when you got it (ie. complete car or box of parts) my suggestion is to closely compare fenders and brackets. I am not familiar with what years use what fender brackets and such as I haven't got into that area of my car yet. If nothing seems bent as you state I would think you might have a fender bracket or even a fender from a different year.

Check that the brakets are level before putting the fenders on. The brackets should be identical. Also are you sure that the frame isn't bent.

I measured both sides of the frame to the ground and thry are the same and both braces appear the same, I am going to take them off this weekend and compare them again.
