I have noticed several Chevy or other GM tool kits for 1930's era cars on Ebay. So I am assuming they came with each new car. Each tool kit I have seen has similar tools but all are a bit different. I'm wondering what the typical kit consisted of and specifically what a 1934 Chevy would have had in it's canvass tool bag.

This site may have the info you are looking for : http://1940chevrolet.com

i believe I have wrenches and pliers that could be correct for a 1934 if you find you need them. Send me a private message with your needs and I'll go out to the barn.

I'm not looking for tools to buy. I am just wondering what the tool kit in a 1934 Chevy would have looked like when the car was delivered new.

Tool Kits were standard equipment in all Chevrolets thru the year 1948. From 1949 thru 1966, Chevrolet offered tool kits as an Accessory. Yes, you can see what came in your 1934 by visiting my website.
